Oh, To Be a Dandelion

A child’s sweet puff, surrender to breeze.

To fly with the wind, and land where I please.

It’s one of those days. 🙂

Safe travels, my friends.

  1. Love that sweet poem. And the photo pairs perfectly.

Even though many consider dandelions to be weeds, I hold many memories of gathering bouquets for my mom and of blowing those seeds into the wind.

  2. Lovely. Dandelions get such a bum wrap. They are good for so many things. You can eat the leaves, make wine from the flowers. They are vital to bees and, if you look closely, they are very pretty.

  3. I love dandelions. Thank you for reminding me about this childhood’s best friend. On a dull, routine day, a dandelion would lighten up the spirits and bring cheer. It would bring out those hidden wishes and make us happy. 🙂

  4. You’re living the dandelion life Dawn!! Never boring–so much to see… We’re finally home from traveling and I’m having a fun time catching up on your posts! Following along as you go. hugs from here!

  5. Love it! I have a thing for dandelions. In fact, I have a necklace with a little globe on it that holds one of the white, fluffy seeds that blow. 🙂
